- Who it helps
- Developers building classification, routing and other repeated application decisions.
- Availability
- Generally available October 22 with GPT-6 Luna. The announcement lists input-token pricing and separate caching conditions; provider access and usage costs apply.
Define the answer space
A developer supplies the question, permitted answers and context from text, images or JSON. The release raises the limit to 400 questions per request and adds a GPT-Live integration.
Measure the decision you need
The provider reports latency and cost improvements. Those examples do not establish accuracy for a different routing policy. An original review fixture could pair ten support requests with a human-approved destination and an explicit escalation case.
What you can do
- Compare predictions with labelled examples and keep uncertain cases reviewable before allowing a decision to trigger an action. Open reference ↗
Where the evidence stops
No API call or latency benchmark was run. Provider and customer examples remain attributed claims.
