Read the sample boundaries
The test uses 17 pages, including eight real statements and nine constructed examples, with simulated scan and photo degradation. A perfect result in this small sample does not establish universal accuracy.
Check against an answer key
For an original trial, prepare a fictional page with amounts 18.40, 27.60 and 46.00. Count exact matches, omissions and extra amounts separately; verify every value against the page.
