- Who it helps
- Developers deciding whether a narrow classification or scoring task needs a general language model.
- Availability
- Public repository with Python 3.11 requirements and documented local or service components. Training, synthetic-data providers and deployment can incur separate compute or API costs; no end-to-end cost was measured.
Follow the data and the decision
The repository describes task specifications, dataset preparation, optional synthetic labels, adaptation of small encoders and int8 ONNX export. Its methodology uses calibration data to choose a configuration and reserves a final test for reporting. That separation lets a reviewer ask whether a model was chosen using information it later claims as unseen evidence.
Read the losing rows too
The generated results include a Banking77 result below the selected outside baseline. Other tasks use synthetic data, and comparisons can involve different training conditions. These details help define a follow-up evaluation on real task data. They do not establish that automatic specialist training consistently beats a general model or that a small export meets a particular device’s memory budget.

Where the evidence stops
The repository, methodology and result tables were read. Training, export quality, inference memory and independent reproduction remain untested.
