- Who it helps
- Video makers comfortable evaluating an early developer-oriented tool.
- Availability
- The MIT-licensed project documents macOS 15 or newer on Apple Silicon, ffmpeg/ffprobe and a configured agent runner. The 0.3.0 application is ad-hoc signed and is not notarized.
How it works
The project combines a local interface, command-line operations and an MCP interface that defaults to loopback. Local project storage can coexist with requests to a chosen cloud model provider.
Make one short export repeatable
Use a short clip you own for an evaluation. Keep its original file, record every edit, and confirm that a fresh project checkout can reproduce the same export before relying on the workflow.

Where the evidence stops
No application was installed and no video was exported. Provider charges, data transfer and operating-system access need review for the chosen configuration.

Cutmark organizes scripts, recordings, edits, storyboards and project metadata in a local video workspace. It gives coding agents a project they can inspect while a person reviews the resulting edit.
