- Who it helps
- Researchers building retrieval systems for agents that perform several searches.
- Availability
- The October 26 preprint is public. Its abstract says the model, data and code will be released soon; their release was not verified.
A query can lose the wider goal
A short intermediate search can retrieve documents that match its wording while missing the original task. ACARe incorporates wider context when ranking those documents and reports gains across three retrieval benchmarks.
Keep the release boundary clear
The paper describes a four-billion-parameter model and tests in two agent frameworks. A linked framework is not the same artifact as the proposed ranking model or its training data.
