- Who it helps
- People considering an assistant for ongoing personal administration and small business tasks.
- Availability
- Meta describes US access through its apps and muse.ai, with free tasks and subscription options. Availability and model rollout vary. Muse Wonder developer availability and Muse Spark Open weights are separate releases; this page concerns the personal agent.
What a continuing task changes
A persistent task needs a clear stopping rule. For an appointment search, specify the acceptable dates, a maximum price and when to ask again if nothing is available. A later instruction may invalidate an earlier plan; inspect what the agent retained before allowing it to act.
Meta describes an external permission system for sensitive actions and separated agent credentials. Its safety account also describes risks and operational access. Treat the permission screen and activity record as part of the workflow.
The discussion this week
An October 12 Reddit post describes successful bookings and follow-ups. Replies ask whether the same behavior could act on an outdated plan. An October 15 discussion connects results to the context people provide and includes concerns about saved personal details. These are useful examples of what to test; the reports do not establish general reliability or AGI.
The October 14 WP Minute conversation puts Muse alongside other persistent agents and asks how context, recurring work and control affect everyday usefulness. The description and chapter list were reviewed here.
Two weeks into using Meta Muse I am asking: how is this not AGI? ↗Maybe it is you… ↗Are agents like Grok Bot, Dots, Muse, and Hermes actually productive? ↗
What you can do
- Begin with the linked fictional service-comparison exercise. Its later preference correction makes it possible to check whether the agent follows the current instruction before using it for a real booking.
Where the evidence stops
The personal agent was not used in an account test. User reports may reflect different access, models and circumstances. A single set of engagement readings establishes sampled discussion, without establishing audience growth.
