- Who it helps
- People studying software demonstrations or comparing a video’s explanation with its screen content.
- Availability
- The Chrome listing shows free version 1.0.7, updated October 23. The creator documents videos up to sixty minutes, excludes live streams and requires captions for transcript text. Assistant account limits may still apply.
Choose the evidence to send
The creator documents frame sampling between one and fifteen seconds, with PDF and ZIP exports. Sampling can miss a brief menu, error message or motion between frames. A transcript can omit actions that the narrator never names.
Keep an export you can inspect
For a short, public tutorial, review the export’s timestamps and screenshots before asking an assistant to explain a step. If the decisive screen is absent, consult the original video. The listing says capture stays in the browser until you choose to send to an AI service; this privacy claim was not audited.
What you can do
- Read the capture and export limits, then use a short non-sensitive video for your own acceptance check. Open reference ↗
Where the evidence stops
The extension was not installed and no video was processed. Sending an export shares it with the selected service. Sampled pictures cannot establish continuous motion or everything that happened.
Sources read. Checked October 23, 2026. The creator page and Chrome listing were read. The extension was not installed and no video was processed.
