- Who it helps
- Design leaders deciding how to evaluate AI tools in their own process.
- Availability
- The September 22 paper abstract is public. This review inspected the abstract; participant data, task materials and a reproduction environment were not verified.
How it works
The reported benefit was larger for product managers than for designers. The completion condition and the narrow task set matter when interpreting the average.
Measure completion and quality together
Run a small comparison using the same brief and acceptance criteria. Record completion, elapsed time and blinded quality review separately so a fast unfinished design cannot count as a success.

Where the evidence stops
This study does not establish the same saving for a full product cycle or every designer. Quality, task selection and unsuccessful attempts need examination in the full evaluation.
