The change in decoding
A small drafting component predicts a whole visual primitive, such as a path, in one pass. Training uses annotated coordinates and accepts structurally valid predictions without requiring the original model’s exact token sequence.
What the evidence establishes
The paper reports improved trajectory accuracy and downstream simulation success. Its approximately 25-fold generation-speed result is explicitly preliminary and measured on a single rollout; it should not be treated as a general deployment speedup.
