- Who it helps
- Researchers and developers evaluating design documentation for coding agents.
- Availability
- The October 14 paper was revised October 15. Its abstract describes a released dataset; this review did not verify the artifact download or its setup.
The reconstruction test
Agents rebuilt twenty-nine libraries using interface contracts and some tests. Adding recovered design artifacts made the resulting module structure closer to the original in the authors’ evaluation.

Structure and correctness differ
Held-out test pass rates did not improve significantly. The result supports a narrower claim about conveying design structure, with correctness and document accuracy still requiring separate checks.

What you can do
- Compare structural similarity and held-out test results before using recovered documents as evidence of a successful rebuild. Open reference ↗
Where the evidence stops
Only the primary abstract and version history were checked. Dataset access, evaluation methods and reconstruction results remain untested here.
