The scope of the query changes
The announcement says Gemini can query the full connected BigQuery dataset and propose a plan before creating a new tab with refreshable spreadsheet objects. The visible rows alone do not define the source being analyzed.
Check the connection and cost
Connected Sheets documentation requires appropriate permissions and a billing setup, and records access in Cloud Audit Logs. Sheets cannot change the source BigQuery data. A query’s charge and access controls still need review in the actual project.
