- Who it helps
- Technical users evaluating a self-hosted personal assistant.
- Availability
- The MIT-licensed repository is public. The documented design uses Pi, Photon messaging, SQLite and isolated virtual machines; hardware virtualization and model access require additional setup.
How it works
The creator describes a permission layer and stores memory, secrets and scheduled work in SQLite. Running the coordinator yourself does not establish that every model request or messaging service stays on the same device.

Map the request and its permissions
Map a fictional reminder request from message receipt to model call and scheduled action. Identify every credential and external service before considering personal messages or real account access.

Biscotti is an early personal-assistant project that accepts iMessage requests and dispatches work to agent sessions. Its small core makes the scheduling and delegation approach relatively easy to inspect.
