Read an edge in the right direction
Each prerequisite edge identifies a topic and the topic it depends on, with a hard or soft relationship and an explanation. Stable identifiers and mastery criteria help an application keep the learning sequence separate from generated lesson text.
A useful first inspection
Choose one familiar topic and trace two prerequisite links by hand. Write a short diagnostic question for each prerequisite. Compare the graph’s order with an experienced teacher’s order before allowing a tutor to skip or repeat lessons automatically. This is an evaluation suggestion, not a measured learning benefit.
What you can do
- Inspect a small familiar subgraph and its licensing files before importing it. Use explicit mastery checks to decide whether each prerequisite is satisfied. Open reference ↗

Marble’s open taxonomy links small learning topics to the concepts they depend on. A tutor or curriculum tool can use the graph to choose what a learner should review first.
