- Who it helps
- Developers investigating agent failures or designing audit records.
- Availability
- The Apache-2.0 Python project and proxy documentation are public. It can sit around an agent or record supported model traffic through a proxy. External model charges and deployment costs remain separate.
Know the capture boundary
A proxy can record a model’s tool request and the result sent back. It cannot establish that the tool really ran, or capture unrelated network activity that bypasses it. Grouping calls into runs can also depend on heuristics.
Signing cannot fill a missing record
The SDK defaults to allowing work to continue after logging problems, and the proxy also prioritizes continuing model calls. A signer outside the agent and enforced traffic routing can strengthen the boundary; the log alone does not supply those controls.

What you can do
- Read the proxy’s capture limits and failure behavior before using its records as evidence of a completed action. Open reference ↗
Where the evidence stops
Documentation checked; no package installed, traffic captured or signature verification tested. This is an early tool overview, not a validated security recommendation.

Mnestiq: signed records of agent activity ↗
Read the Apache-2.0 README, provenance fields and fail-open behavior. Signed records can expose changes after capture; capture completeness requires separate controls.

Mnestiq proxy: what is captured and what is not ↗
Native browser recovered the proxy documentation. It sees model requests and supplied results, cannot prove a tool executed, and misses traffic outside its route. No proxy was installed.

- · Added to Current
Mnestiq records model calls, tool activity and provenance in a signed chain so later changes to captured records can be detected.
